About The Opportunity 

Tasman Holiday Parks are a rapidly expanding, emerging leader in the Caravan and Camping Industry. We have grown to over 42 parks across Australia and New Zealand in just over 3 years! We have BIG plans for the next 2 years and are looking for a dynamic professional to come on board as one of Regional Operations Manager to oversee our portfolio of holiday parks in NSW.

Reporting directly to our General Manager of Operations, the Regional Operations Manager role is an integral part of the Tasman Holiday Parks Operational Management Team and has full operational and profit and loss responsibility for assets under management (portfolio). 

• Responsible for ensuring the delivery of the portfolio Operational Business Plan in line with overall fund strategy 
• Lead cross divisional alignment in portfolio (Sales, Marketing, Development and Operations) to achieve and exceed required commercial outcomes around RevPAR 
• Proactively identify new business opportunities for portfolio and assess relevance for the overall business and make commercial recommendations 
• Full P&L accountability for assets under management, including the pre-emptive implementation of strategies to overcome under-performance 
• Efficient management of the cost base, whilst ensuring the highest-level resident/guest experience is achieved 
• Ensure the enhancement of the capital value of assets under management 
• Oversight and delivery of operational capital reinvestment for portfolio 
• Contribute to overall corporate / group initiatives as required (may include, but not limited to developments, acquisition, and divestments) 
• Adherence to minimum presentation standards in all parks 
• Undertake Park visits in line with portfolio travel schedule 
• Develop and implement resourcing plan for portfolio 
• Monitor and review the performance of each of your Parks and where required, devise strategies to overcome underperformance concerns
• Proactively drive and improve Portfolio's NPS and implement strategies to overcome negative customer feedback (both with our Guests and permanent and long-term casual occupants)
• Actively contribute as a member of the operations team and assist other employees as required 
• This role reports through to the GM Operations (AUS) and you must be comfortable in an Executive setting and have the ability to provide accurate and well-written reporting on your portfolio  

What You'll Bring to the Team

You are a strong leader who will actively contribute to the leadership of our organisation and continue to strengthen our performance culture. 

• Extensive experience in leading large teams across a significant regional multi-site portfolio, within the holiday park or accommodation (hotel) sector
• In-depth experience in the Holiday Parks (Long-term Casual Occupation) Act 2002, will be highly regarded
• Tertiary qualification or industry recognised qualification in business management or a related discipline 
• Strength in leadership, operational, financial and people management 
• Flexibility to adapt and respond to changes emerging in a rapid paced environment 
• Ability to work under pressure, to tight timeframes as part of a core management team 
• With a strong commercial focus 
• Demonstrated experience in leading change management 
• Has a sense of urgency and just wants to get things done! 
• Extremely committed to both the customer and the team we have 
• Extensive experience in the hotel or accommodation sectors 
• Experience leading large teams in a multi-site portfolio 
• Experience in and champions safe work practices 

As part of this role, there will be the requirement to travel frequently within the NSW portfolio of eight Holiday Parks, and the greater business as required. 

When not travelling in the portfolio, the role will work remotely.
