About the role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will work closely with the Facility Manager and Clinical Nurse Manager to provide care and case management across the facility.
Take immediate action to ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner providing direction to enrolled nurses and care workers
Complete assessment and/or admission requirements
Maintains an effective referral system to senior nursing staff, medical staff and/or allied health staff
Ensure that clinical records reflect care, in line with all accreditation standards and legislative requirements
Provide coaching/mentoring/training to staff where required
About you:
Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
Relevant clinical experience in an aged care environment would be an advantage but is not essential
Ability to work independently and professionally
Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to confidently use clinical information systems
Willingness to obtain any relevant police clearances and vaccinations required

All Registered Nurses who commence at a Bethanie Residential site will participate in the RN Mentoring Program. The purpose of the program is to support your onboarding experience and help you transition into life at Bethanie. You will learn essential knowledge and skills and receive support from your mentor.
Salary packaging up to $15,899 per annum for living expenses and $2650 for meals and entertainment. Salary Packaging allows you to pay for your expenses with money from your salary before tax is taken out. Pay less tax, and your take home pay increases.
