Form of workOur client based in Cessnock is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their team on a Full-Time basis. Working the day and night shifts, Monday to Sunday.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for the elderly and will be offered an attractive salary and hourly rate.

About the role:
- Provide clinical care to consumers in accordance with their needs, goals and preferences
- Administer medications
- Attend to treatment, dressings and observations
- Completing all medical charts
- Follow and implement care plans
- Conduct clinical monitoring and auditing processes
- Assist and support in personal care and other supports tasks on a shift by shift basis
- Develop and maintain a professional rapport with consumers and their families
- Additional responsibilities within the scope of your role
About you:
- Must hold current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Min 12 months paid AGED CARE experience (in Australia or reciprocal country)
- National Criminal Police Check (Must be in the last 2 years)
- Genuine passion for caring for the elderly
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (no sponsorship is on offer for these roles)
- Experience and knowledge of dementia care (not essential)
- An understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation process
