QAGOMA is seeking an Assistant Registrar, Cataloguing and Documentation to join the busy Registration team.
The Registration section manages the legal and physical risk associated with works of art in the Gallery's Collection and for works in the temporary custody of the Gallery.
The position will support the implementation of high standard museum collection management practices for the Gallery's Collection and will coordinate and undertake cataloguing of the Collection using the Gallery's Collection Management System (Museum Plus).
The position is responsible for providing statistics and reports drawn from the Collection Management System and undertakes a range of activities relating to Board of Trustee meetings and Australian Government Cultural Gifts Program submissions.
