The Opportunity
To continue to provide the best service to our customers, Liebherr Mining is seeking a driven, professional, strategically minded Relationship Manager. Reporting to and working closely with the Key Account Manager. This role will be responsible for the effective management and sustainment of the existing portfolio ensuring that all global relationship principles are implemented within the Operational Area.
Based in Brisbane South, this role is responsible for; strategy execution, coordination of product promotional and sales activities, developing new business opportunities and effectively managing the customer relationship.
Duties
- Establish, build and preserve strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within the customers organisation, and serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure proper pre-and post-sales service
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities to increase sales volumes
- Maintaining accurate forecast & sales records
- Effective and accurate market and competitor research and analysis including; market activity, competitor sales and new projects
Skills & experience
- Previous account management/relationship management experience
- Project management experience is essential with the ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Experience in preparing quotations, tenders and proposals
- Ability to monitor and analyse market trends
- Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills
- Shows capability in creating a sense of partnership with the ability to build trust and forge strong relationships
- A technical aptitude will be advantageous
- Bachelor degree in Business Management/Marketing or related is preferred
