Due to substantial growth and new contracts, WA Building and Remedial requires a Remedial Building Manager to join its successful team servicing the Greater Perth Area, possible regional travel when required.
THE ROLE
You will be an integral part of the team, responsible for providing construction knowledge and support to the team on an ongoing basis.
This role is based in Greater Perth Area however regional & interstate travel is required in the event of a catastrophe / disaster relief.
Works will focus on builder’s warranty projects and other larger insurance claims with day to day tasks including
• Regular communication with trades
• Project planning and scheduling
• Estimation and scoping
• Providing updates to all stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with NCC and A/S’s
• WHS documentation and paperwork onsite in compliance with National/State workplace legislation
THE REQUIREMENT
• Min 3 years experience in New Build Supervision on a broad range of sites
• Experience in Water proofing
• Building remedial experience
• Structural experience
• Knowledge with Building permit applications
• Strong communication skills
• Relevant qualification/Trade License
• WHS Induction Card
• Drivers License
• White Card
• Working knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills
• Good computer Skills.
• Ability to travel regionally & interstate if required
• Ability to manager trades & direct labour
Ideally you will have previous experience in the Insurance industry and be able to draw on your life experiences to provide solutions.
