Start with wood-fired bread made to order with small plates of local and house-made antipasto. Enjoy our fresh pasta, from a beautiful paccheri arrabbiata with local stracciatella to a slow cooked lamb ragu pappardelle topped with lots of pecorino because we just love pecorino!
We are also serving cooked to perfection Neapolitan style pizza using an Italian style pre-fermentation called Biga. Our dough is fermented from 48 to 72h and has a much better aroma and flavour than normal pizza. Easier to digest to!
About the opportunity
As our Reservations coordinator, you will have full accountability of incoming reservations. This includes phone and email enquiries, management of our online booking system and coordination of group bookings. This role is integral in the success of the restaurant and delivering on guest experience.
This dual role incorporates Social Media Coordination, you will be assisting in the planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring and reporting of our Social Media accounts. Reporting to the Marketing director & owners, this role will require you to be an excellent communicator, attentive to detail, energetic and on the pulse of trends and creative ideas.
This role is suited to someone who is extremely organised, extremely punctual, good under pressure and with unbeatable time management skills, experience and understanding of the food and beverage industry is a must. The successful applicant will be able to communicate with complete clarity to the related heads of departments and execute their role with full accountability.
This is a FULL TIME position, 38 hours a week, the company is growing and for the right person the opportunity could be extended into other avenues of administration and management.
Social Media Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & executing Social Media strategies
- Crafting compelling content across TikTok, FB & IG (managing and/or working with other creatives as needed)
- Manage customer communications & inbox
- Impeccable writing skills & strong aesthetic awareness
- Analysis of Social Media analytics
- Communicating with marketing director & owners and implementing key messaging
- Seek and manage influencer collaborations and trends to support growth
- Managing Google my business profile
Qualifications & Experience
- 1+ years’ experience in Social Media Coordination for an organisation
- A strong passion for and understanding of high-level food and beverage industry
- A comprehensive understanding of Social Media platforms (FB, IG & TikTok), pop culture and emerging trends
- Thorough experience with scheduling apps, preferably Sked Social
- Experience using Adobe Design Suite and/or Canva is a bonus
Reservations Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing all inbound calls
- Maintaining venue email inboxes
- Managing online booking system & online reservations
- Coordinating reservations for the restaurant. This includes large bookings and dietary requirements
- Providing friendly and solution driven customer service
- Liaising with the kitchen and operations teams on a regular basis with regards to upcoming bookings
- Pass on guest feedback to relevant departments and collating this feedback for management
- Creating reports on bookings as required
- Maximise earnings potential through up selling products
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience within the hospitality industry (operations or administration)
- 1 + years in a similar role in reservations
- Understanding of booking systems desirable, OpenTable knowledge is advantageous
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Engaging personal presence with outstanding verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident and effective communicator
- Team player mentality & positive attitude
- Accountability and responsibility of all facets of the role
- Outstanding organisational skills & punctuality
