About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Drafter to provide crucial Technical Support to our Sales and Operations Teams. Your role will involve assessing contract requests to ensure compliance with company building policies, national construction codes, and local council and developer guidelines. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless process for both customers and operations, ensuring site plans adhere to code compliance, driveway gradients are correct, and plans are clear and accurate.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviewing sales paperwork to ensure compliance with council and developer requirements
- Assessing developer covenant requirements
- Ensuring all requests meet company building policies, including structural plan changes
- Reviewing house site plans and setbacks against council requirements (NSW and QLD)
- Confirming driveway gradients and compliance
- Facilitating effective communication with the sales team to swiftly resolve issues
- Accurately managing data entry for workflow processes
- Maintaining and enforcing high-quality, accurate paperwork provided by sales
- Providing ongoing feedback and contributing to an effective and productive team environment
- Conducting quality control to ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy, reflecting customer contractual documents, regulatory requirements within agreed time frames
- Provide sound technical advice and information to the public and colleagues, within established guidelines
- Provide guidance and assist with the development of less experienced employees
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Construction industry (essential)
- Revit or Autocad experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills - Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Proficient typing and data entry skills
- Analytical and efficient problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Well demonstrated organisational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well with minimal direction and use initiative
- Consistently maintain a high standard of work
