ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
For nearly 35 years, Wungening has led the way with culturally secure programs. Our core focus is addressing the harmful effects of alcohol and other drugs on individuals, families, and communities.
To heal mind, body and spirit, we now proudly provide:
- Alcohol and other drug programs
- A refuge for women and children escaping family violence
- A culturally responsive emergency relief program
- Reintegration and accommodation support (justice)
We also lead a suite of cross-agency alliances, supporting:
- Reintegration into community after release from prison
- In-home support services aimed at keeping children safe at home
- Pathways to housing for the homeless
- Out of Home Care Services
ABOUT THE ROLES
We have multiple Resource Officer positions available in our East Perth, Armadale/Rockingham and Mirrabooka offices.
Reporting to the Coordinators of Ngalla Wirrin Wungening (AOD Support), this position is first point of contact for our clients, to meet and greet visitors, answers the phones, and takes messages, provide administration support, takes minutes, schedule building repairs and order office supplies.
Annual salary is dependent on candidate experience.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Demonstrated work experience in a similar role.
- High level of competence in administrative processes and procedures.
- Ability to multi task and get the job done.
- High level of computer literacy, demonstrated experience with software products which include, word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
- Demonstrated ability in managing record management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

- Department of Justice Clearance
