ABOUT THE ROLE
The Office Administrator will provide general administrative services to the Perth office, including supporting internal IT infrastructure for the Perth office (with the support of an external IT provider).
The broad nature of the role will utilise your tech experience, from troubleshooting day to day hardware / software issues to undertaking a variety of administrative tasks to support our team.
Essential to the role will be the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people, based locally, and in West Africa, and have the maturity to think on your feet.
This is a full time role located in the Company's Subiaco office, working as part of a small friendly team.
DUTIES - ADMINISTRATION
- Providing administrative support to the Perth office team.
- General office and administrative duties, including low volume reception.
- Coordinate and plan corporate events.
- Monitoring stocks and procurement of office supplies and consumables.
- Organising and maintaining folder structure, files and records to ensure they are easily accessible.
- Providing back up support and leave coverage for our in-house travel co-ordinator.
- Provide general technical support for staff, diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including printers, software and general issues.
- Communicate with our external IT provider for tech support, and other vendors for IT procurement and support.
- Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations.
- Supporting internal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage.
- Communicate with our operational / on-site IT team in relation to hardware, troubleshooting and procurement.
- Ensure smooth deployment of new applications and software.
YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
Applications are sought from candidates who have the following skills and experience:
- General office administration experience.
- Highly developed skills, in particular, Microsoft Office, OneDrive and Sharepoint.
- Providing IT troubleshooting, supported by an external IT provider.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a positive and organised approach to all activities and interactions.
- Previous experience developing, maintaining and updating IT related platforms, including websites, intranet and software would be highly regarded.
- A working knowledge and application of IT related security, including security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software would be highly regarded
- Administration of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases would be highly regarded.
