Currently, the cafe is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Restaurant Manager to join their team, overseeing the day-to-day operations and contributing to the continued success of Silo Kiosk in in Manly, NSW 2095.
Current Opening:
This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).
Position Responsibilities and Tasks
- Ensure the Restaurant and functions are adequately staffed part-time and full-time.
- Provide supervision and support to staff.
- Ensure all kitchen staff has a food handling certificate and are trained otherwise as required.
- Ensure a professional level of customer service is delivered by all staff at all times.
- Ensure that the kitchen, floor and Restaurant and Functions area are clean throughout the day and meet health & safety requirements including termly risk assessments.
- Ensure that all foods that are prepared, cooked and stored in the Restaurant and for Functions meet a high standard of food hygiene accordingly with Business Policies and Procedures.
- Organise and manage the orders of the Restaurant and Functions supplies in order to meet the needs of its customers by: undertaking weekly stock-takes; providing weekly sales and purchasing figures to accounts; control and efficient stock management.
- Create, organise and manage Functions
- Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements for the operations of Functions
- Work with kitchen staff to plan and prepare Functions food
- Understand and provide client’s needs on Functions operations
- Identify & discuss training requirements with Director and other Manager.
- Initiate training program for staff (where appropriate) with support of external resources
- Operate safely within the workplace with regard to the Business health and safety policies, procedures and safe working practices. Responsible for your own Health and Safety and that of other employees and service users.
Qualifications and Skills:
- AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or relevant qualifications
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve high performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with both staff and customers.
- Exceptional organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
