Job Description:

German Inn is seeking a passionate and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead the team. As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing staff, and upholding the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house staff to provide outstanding service.
• Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including reservations, seating, and customer flow.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and maintaining the restaurant's ambience.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Inventory and Cost Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, control costs, and maximise profitability.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
• Budgeting: Assist in budget development and manage expenses to meet financial goals.
• Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the restaurant and drive customer engagement.
• Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience at a Restaurant Manager level.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of European cuisine and restaurant operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proven track record in staff training and development.
• Budgeting and cost control experience.
• A passion for providing memorable dining experiences.
