CRMI Holdings Pty Ltd in Cockburn Central, WA is a modern Australian restaurant. From spicy Thai flavors to comforting Chinese dishes and flavorful Malaysian cuisine, the menu showcases a fusion of international influences.
They are currently looking for a Restaurant Manager to join their team.
The Role
You will be tasked with leading and managing the various staff as well as the overall operations of the restaurant. Your responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. This is a full-time role with an annual salary set between $70,000 to $75,000 depending on experience plus superannuation.
The Responsibilities
Your tasks at the restaurant will consist of:
Ensure all day to day running and management operations for Byblos Lebanese Cuisine
Enforcing staff arrive to work in correct uniform.
Promote the interests of the restaurant and not do anything which may adversely affect the reputation or goodwill of Byblos Lebanese Cuisine
Discuss/send correspondence relating to function/catering arrangements with clients
Control and manage any additional catering jobs.
Menu planning with the Chef
Supervise he purchase and storage of food and beverages.
Supervise provision of all crockery, cutlery, detergents and kitchenware
Ensure there is adequate security for food and equipment.
Ensure the restaurant floor, kitchen, storage facilities and other work areas are kept clean and confirm to health regulations.
Plan, co-ordinate and supervise the activities of workers in dining rooms, kitchens, bars and other areas
Manage staff hiring, training and rostering.
Manage restaurant reservations.
Comply with Byblos Lebanese Cuisine and all legislative requirements.
Co-ordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
Organize and supervise shifts.
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it.
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
The Requirements:
To be considered for the position you must meet the following requirements:
Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager within an operation of a similar profile is essential
Relevant or equivalent qualifications in hospitality management
Must have at least 4 years of menu planning experience including cost control and planning menu to budget
Proven experience working with POS systems and cash handling at a store level
Demonstrated and verifiable prior experience
Excellent people and time management skills - ability to work with international staff
Excellence in delivering quality customer service and customer satisfaction ratings including brand standards
