Opening hours of venue are Wednesday to Sunday evenings from 5pm until 9 – 10pm with shifts starting from approx. 4pm for venue set up. This role is casual, with wage based on award + experience as only 25 – 30 hours can be offered on the floor. There are additional shifts assisting with kitchen preparation should a suitable applicant require full time hours.
Reporting to the owners your role will include:
• daily operations
• hands-on role providing exceptional customer service
• employment. management, training & rostering of staff in line with current HR requirements & policies
• ordering & management of beverage stock
• improving and maintaining quality of product & processes
• working together with the existing head chef to provide a positive, happy environment for customers & staff
• general cleaning & maintenance of venue
Key criteria:
• minimum 2 years experience
• passion for food, wine & exceptional customer service
• experience managing POS & reservations software preferable but training can be provided
• wine knowledge preferable but training can be provided
• attention to detail, organised & tidy
• positive energy
• strong work ethic
• reliable & flexible
• excellent presentation
• excellent communication skills
• enjoy working as part of a small team
• possess a sense of urgency with a calm & confident demeanour
• ability to commit to minimum 12+ months employment
