ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to sustainable growth, we are searching for an experiencedRisk & Compliance Managerto join our well established Health Safety & Sustainability division. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based out of our Acacia Ridge, QLD office.
Reporting directly to the Manager - Risk, Systems and Assurance, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and ongoing maintenance of our Risk Management and Layered Assurance Systems as well as monitoring Health & Safety compliance.
This position will act as as the (SME) Subject Matter Expert on Management system certification requirements in addition to supporting operational risk management activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will involve the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Build and lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a risk management and assurance framework, systems and processes that aligns with our Company's Policy, applicable legislation and codes of practice, applicable standards (ISO, AS/NZ, recognised), dealership and customer specifications.
- Manage a Layered Assurance program across multiple branches of the business.
- Engage and manage external certification which includes third party-Audits.
- Provide direction and coaching to relevant organisational stakeholders on risk, compliance and quality requirements.
- Support the Manager-Risk, System & Assurance with the implementation of risk management processes.
- Manage Audit Team and Audit schedule.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- 7-10 years' experience in a HSE leadership position or equivalent.
- Leadership experience managing direct reports.
- Robust experience developing risk, safety, environment quality management systems.
- Current working knowledge of legislation and standards relevant to safety environment, quality and risk.
- Strong workplace Audit and assessment knowledge
- Knowledge of HSE policies and procedures for multi-geographic and diverse organisation (ideally within Resource Industry).
- Ability to travel every two months for short periods within our International branches.
