Here at Fibrecycle Pty Ltd, we are currently on the lookout for an experienced FMCG Commercial Analyst to join our finance team, who is ready and willing to provide, strategic insights and accurate and timely commercial advice to the business.
The role of the Compliance Manager is to develop, implement and manage a comprehensive compliance program to ensure all internal, customer, regulatory and legal requirements as related to manufacture of product are met.
A minimum of 3 years work experience in a compliance-based role, focused on managing the regulatory requirements of multiple product categories across a range of pet consumables and consumer goods.
Highly desired to have working knowledge and experience with the standards associated with pet food and treats, grains, seeds and other biological material relating to the manufacture and supply of pet consumable products.
Key duties of the role include:
- Create and maintain control systems to prevent non-conformance against legal, regulatory or internal policies.
- Periodically revise procedures and related documentation to minimise risk of non-conformances.
- Assess and review current policies and procedures to ensure they adequately manage compliance requirements.
- Ensure all standards, regulations and legal requirements for the manufacture of products are met across the business.
- Research, identify and advise the business of new and emerging compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, standards and regulatory standards to ensure safe and appropriate development of products.
- Ensure all product related claims have the required substantiation and approvals the business.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of standards, regulations and laws as they relate to artwork and packaging claims.
- Work collaboratively with the QA department to ensure an adequate compliance program is in place for all products across shelf-life testing, mandatory microbial testing and individual customer testing requirements.
- Assist with the review of formulations to manage compliance for raw material supply as required for DAFF.
