As a member of Iress' Group Risk team (a Line 2 function), you will play a key role in driving the implementation of Iress' Board-endorsed Three Lines Model across the organisation. You will also work collaboratively with your colleagues in the broader Risk & Compliance function to uplift risk culture and capability across the organisation and perform key Line 2 activities.
Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with:
Collaborate with colleagues in the Risk & Compliance function to successfully deliver strategic projects, including the design, rollout of Iress' new GRC platform, as well as key initiatives associated with the Iress Risk Strategy
Perform ongoing administration of the GRC platform, including system design, enhancements and testing, as necessary
Contribute to the improvement of the GRC by identifying and escalating items relating to risk registers, workflows, risk and controls libraries, incidents and issues management, and reporting
Prepare insightful risk reporting and analysis for executive management and board committees to facilitate effective oversight and management of material risks to Iress
Drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement around risk management within Iress
Supporting the rollout of Iress' new Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system, enabling teams to establish their own risk management processes, governance and reporting
Enhancing awareness and understanding of core risk management principles and practices (such as risk identification, assessment and risk treatment, as well as controls design, implementation and self-assessment)
Driving accountability for risk-based decision-making and risk-first behaviours at all levels.
Providing ongoing enhancements to Iress' risk management policies, procedures and training
Communicating key risk frameworks and Board-approved risk appetite to the wider organisation (and monitoring their implementation)
Monitoring and reporting on material risks to the Leadership Team and the Board, as required.
What you will bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce and/or a Technology-related field
Experience in a Line 1 or Line 2 operational risk role, ideally within banking, financial services or professional services
Proven data analytics and risk reporting skills through a risk management system and technical ability to support system administration
Strong understanding of risk management and monitoring processes (such as risk identification, assessment and risk treatment, as well as controls design, implementation and testing)
Ability to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to drive continuous improvement
Team player with strong collaboration, influencing and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
