Our not for profit organisation based in Sydney CBD is dedicated to offering quality, examinable dance syllabi
and technical support to our dance teacher members. BAL has a permanent part time position available for an
experienced RTO Compliance Officer/Office Administration Officer. Marketing expertise would also be a desired asset.
This role is for three days per week to start (days negotiable), with potential to increase hours per week as required

Reporting to the Office Manager, your role involves:
● RTO Compliance management
● Data entry into our records management system
● Student administration
● Managing student files
● Liaising with trainer/assessors, students and potential students
● Timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies
● Marketing of training courses, and general company marketing including social media
● Overseeing and implementing possible new RTO courses.
● General office administration, as required, including compiling and distributing Member newsletters
● Organising Travel and accommodation itineraries for trainers, assessors and examiners
● Working with the Board of Directors to improve Member experiences
Applications are sought from people who have the following skills and experience:
● RTO administration and training coordination experience - at least two years
● Understanding and experience in dealing with the compliance requirements of an RTO
● A proven ability to work independently and as part of a small team
● Outstanding attention to detail
● Be an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills
● Strong written communication, oral and presentation skills
● Experience using an LMS
● Excellent computer literacy in the MS Office suite of products
It is also desirable that the applicant has the following:
● Knowledge of aXcelerate student management system
● Accounts payable/receivable experience
● Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)
● Marketing experience
● Some experience in dance an advantage but not a necessity
