Geelong Medical Supplies is a leading, locally based business-to-business provider of medical and first aid supplies and rehabilitation equipment with a small retail component. We are a Geelong based business of 35 years with a small, experienced long-term stable team.
About the role you’ll be responsible for…
- Managing and growing an existing client base so you won’t be starting from scratch,
- Identify and develop new opportunities for product lines and client market segments to better serve our clients and extend our value to them,
- A balance of inbound and outbound sales and customer service telephone calls and email communications which is essential for an office based role,
- Maintaining our CRM system and entering orders into our sales systems so that you and the rest of the team know what is going on and support delivering a better experience,
- Research, preparation, and presenting of client proposals and quotes so that you can professionally deliver solutions and options to our clients,
- Developing product knowledge to better serve our clients as our clients choose us for the quality of support we offer them,
- Work with the sales team to develop and deliver marketing campaigns to drive sales for product and client market segments,
- You’ll be able to achieve all of this in an office-based role with a small amount of client site visits from time to time.
- This position is part-time with negotiable hours equivalent to 3 days per week, however, this role is available as a full-time role for the right candidate.
You as the ideal person for the role has…
- A demonstrated sales and/or marketing experience OR has medical provider experience with a desire to learn and excel at sales and customer support,
- Is open to learning and has a solution mindset,
- A drive to finish tasks at a professional pace and standard,
- A demonstrable natural customer service focus,
- Experience in common productivity applications such as MS Office,
- Ideally had broader experience in using sales and marketing technologies.
- Past experience in developing online content for social media and website an advantage
- Medical sales experience is a benefit but not essential.
