The Company
This market leading company with high quality, top of the range products has been supplying the Australian marketplace for over 50 years. With a diverse range of pump related products our client is renowned for providing pumps, drainage, and irrigation pump products to Australia’s biggest retail chains, independents and end user clients. This ambitious company has a strong global standing and is looking to enhance its exposure by adding a key individual to target commercial projects in NSW and ACT.
The Role
- You will be based in Sydney - responsible for identifying and winning new projects within the commercial building space.
- Our client specialise in HVAC pump solutions (i.e., centrifugal pumps) selling it to the HVAC and mechanical contractors, and consultants.
- Your market knowledge of the HVAC space is key when it comes to identifying and winning wet concrete projects.
- You will be dealing with estimators, project managers, engineers and contract admin on a daily basis.
- This is a highly technical position and will see the Sales Engineer dealing with average deal sizes ranging from $10,000 up to $1million.
- This is a fully autonomous role however you are expected to collaboratively work alongside the Regional Sales Manager and the other Sales Engineers all over Australia.
The Person
- Ideally you will be coming with significant experience selling to HVAC and mechanical contractors/consultants.
- It would be advantageous if you have experience selling pumps, HVAC solutions, building services or other related products.
- Our client will also be looking for individuals with strong sales structure and process, comfortable building relationships with existing accounts and have a go-getter type attitude.
- For the right candidate, our client is offering up to 140k base + Fully Maintained Vehicle + 20% of base as Commissions + Super + other tools of the trade.
