Operating for over half a century and with a footprint that extends across more than 50 countries across the globe, this Fortune 200 company is experiencing exciting growth in the Australian market, leading to the creation of this new Sales Engineer role for their enterprise Audio Visual (AV) business unit based out of Sydney.
Position
Due to growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Sales Engineer in Sydney. As the Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by providing technical expertise and support to their sales team and customers. You will be responsible for understanding clients' AV requirements, designing customised solutions, and effectively communicating their value proposition.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the national sales team to identify and qualify sales opportunities, providing technical expertise throughout the sales process.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and capabilities of our solutions.
- Develop detailed technical proposals and quotations based on customer requirements.
- Design customised AV solutions that meet the specific client needs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including troubleshooting technical issues and addressing customer concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends to ensure a thorough understanding of our product offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering ongoing support and assistance to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
- Strong technical aptitude, supported by Bachelor's degree in Engineering or suitable related trade qualification.
- Proven experience in Sales Engineering, preferably in the enterprise AV industry.
- Strong technical background with expertise in enterprise AV systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required
The Offer
The successful applicant will receive an attractive remuneration package commensurate with experience, including a base salary of $110,000 - $120,000, plus Superannuation, a Car Allowance of $20,000 and a bonus plan. You will also have the opportunity to establish yourself with a leading and progressive global Fortune 200 company.
