About the opportunity
Working with a team of Sales Engineers, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle. You will work with Account Managers and be responsible for researching, preparing design solutions, and provide the essential skills for our clients to successfully implement Axis video and audio solutions. You will also work on long term projects in the community that make a difference.
The role is based in Sydney and will involve some domestic and international travel.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Work with integrators and technology partners during the project sales process.
- Provide internal and external assistance during the sales process including delivering solutions and demonstrations to customers
- Work cohesively across multiple departments (internally & externally) to ensure we get the best outcomes for our partners
- Construct and deliver technology and/or customer-specific training
- Provide technical updates to our partners
- Attend and represent Axis at industry trade shows and events
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelors' Degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
- Ideally experience in a customer-facing pre-sales role in the field of network video and/or physical security markets
Skills, abilities, and behaviours
- Driven and self-motivated team player
- Good knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies and applications is desirable
- Good organisational skills, and able to manage multiple priorities and time for customer needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to build and maintain relationships with customers
