THE ROLE

As the Sales Engineer you will be accountable for multiple tasks that support the business development and sales targets of Energy Renaissance. You will be the bridge between the internal product and manufacturing teams and our customers via the sales manager. You will set out to solve the customers problems related to energy storage solutions and work with the sales team. You will support the sales team in providing application engineering to our distributors and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts.

  • Lead the creation, review, and submittal of technical support documentation to support the sales process.
  • Lead the training of customers on ER energy storage system applications and case studies.
  • Solve or recommend solutions for complex integration issues and problems.
  • Identify gaps in product offering.
  • Make presentations to management, clients, and peer groups as requested.
  • Develop unique techno economical sales advantages that we can share with other customers to win projects.
  • Partner with the Manufacturing and Technology teams to reduce the interruptions to manufacturing.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will possess a Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in electrical or control systems engineering, or equivalent experience. You will have significant exposure supporting system sales, project sales or helped to build battery systems for customers in the resources sector. Contributing to your success will be:

  • Experience with electricity market functions and how battery solutions can participate in the electricity market.
  • Experience with network service providers and application processes for battery solutions.
  • Experience with energy management systems and load management systems including metering.
  • Experience with integrating battery systems with solar systems and existing industrial electrical infrastructure.
  • Commitment to problem solving and interfacing with colleagues and clients.
  • Comfortable with scripting and debugging when requested.
