AddressSurfair Beach Hotel is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate income through events, weddings, and conferences to achieve monthly sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the events industry, a proven track record in sales, and strong event coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong sales focus, promptly responding to all inquiries with personalized quotes.
- Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships to ensure conversion targets and revenue goals are met.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to identify sales opportunities through competitive pricing and enhanced value propositions.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand event goals, develop event plans, and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing activities to drive new business and increase revenue.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client communications in the event management system.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and confirmation deposits are secured before finalizing business agreements.
- Manage deposit requests according to established schedules.
- Handle client complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales with at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry and event planning best practices.
- Previous experience with Seven Rooms and/or Ivvy is advantageous.
