About this Position
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing your own sales territory within the Queensland Sign and Display market, specifically in the Gold Coast and northern NSW region. Hendra is the office home base and there is a requirement to travel to the office once a week for a scheduled planning meeting. In the role you will create relationships with new customers, manage existing customers and drive awareness of our brand and product portfolio in the marketplace. On a daily basis you will liaise with customers face-to-face, generate sales, negotiate pricing, suggest suitable or alternative products and ensure your customers’ needs are satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow our 3M™ and Visual Communications product sales;
- Meet and exceed sales targets within a set sales territory;
- Develop new business and foster strong customer relationships through face-to-face contact;
- Identify Visual Communications growth opportunities within your territory;
- Actively seek new business;
- Liaise with customers regarding new products, product deletions and price changes;
- Liaise with internal sales and logistics team members to meet customer expectations; and
- Ad-hoc duties as required.
This is a sales role focused on high performance. Ideally, the successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in an external sales role is a must;
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, develop new business and grow a sales territory;
- Previous experience in the Visual Communications industry is highly desirable;
- Knowledge and understanding of vinyl products would be highly advantageous;
- Excellent time management and negotiation skills;
- Effective communication and customer relations skills;
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel; and
- SAP software experience would be an advantage.
