As Sales Manager you will build on very strong visitation foundation and be responsible for generating visitation to the Nature Parks sites from international and domestic markets whilst maximising yield through the sales function. This position will develop and deliver the Nature Parks sales plan in collaboration with Marketing and Tourism departments.
The Sales Manager drives innovative and responsive sales initiatives to ensure that the organisation meets its sales targets on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. The establishment and growth of significant relationships with key customers, international distributors, international in-market agents, State and National tourism bodies will be a critical function of this role.
This role will include some international and domestic travel to attend tourism marketplace sales events.
For success in this role you will have:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in sales leadership role preferably in tourism, hotel and/or events
- Strong understanding of tourism distribution channels
- Demonstrated success in selling a high-profile brand
- Exceptional communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Sales focused with attention to detail
