Dinko Tuna Farmers is a family run fishing company based in beautiful Port Lincoln, in South Australia and has been operating since 1966.
We are currently seeking a results-driven and motivated Sales Manager to join the team and work for an established Seafood company based in South Australia.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers and driving sales growth in all products
- They will play a key role in achieving revenue targets and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and target new business opportunities through prospecting & cold calling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all product is delivered and distributed in a timely manner to ensure its quality is preserved
Sales Growth:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends.
- Collaborate with the processing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the features and benefits of products/services.
- Effectively communicate product specifications and advantages to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations as needed.
Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Director
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including processing, administration and product development to achieve overall company goals.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative within the seafood industry is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
