Dinko Tuna Farmers is a family run fishing company based in beautiful Port Lincoln, in South Australia and has been operating since 1966.

We are currently seeking a results-driven and motivated Sales Manager to join the team and work for an established Seafood company based in South Australia. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers and driving sales growth in all products
  • They will play a key role in achieving revenue targets and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and retention. 
  • Identify and target new business opportunities through prospecting & cold calling. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all product is delivered and distributed in a timely manner to ensure its quality is preserved

Sales Growth

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends. 
  • Collaborate with the processing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Product Knowledge

  • Stay informed about the features and benefits of products/services.
  • Effectively communicate product specifications and advantages to customers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations as needed.

Sales Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Director

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including processing, administration and product development to achieve overall company goals. 

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative within the seafood industry is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
