The Role
BASROC has a permanent full-time position open for a Sales/Specification
Representative based out of the Dandenong South office. You will be responsible for driving sales and becoming a technical expert while upholding the high service standards our customers have come to know.
The role is available for an immediate start for the right person.
Key responsibilities include: (but are not limited to)
- New client acquisition, via industry contacts and cold calling
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed
sales targets within the building and construction materials segment.
- Manage and grow existing customer base.
- Understand the sales process from specification through to installation.
- Able to adapt and present to key stake holders in different sectors, such as
contractors, estimators, site managers and senior management.
- Deliver persuasive presentations to architects, builders, and key decision-makers.
- Prepare price lists/quotations as required.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet or
exceed customer expectations.
- CRM Management
- Regular reporting to the General manager on the market, trends, forecasts,
and budgets.
- Provide in depth technical information to support architects, builders, installers & the like.
The successful candidate will have:

- Highly developed customer service and great communication skills.
- Ability to adapt at a moments notice
- Excellent computer skills including use of MS office suite.
