The role
The Symons formwork brand has more than 120 years of history in the USA, and 10 years of strong growth in Australia. The Melbourne market has been a strong adopter of Symons formwork systems that very well suit the local industry and building methodology, with local projects ranging from 50 story apartments, to 40 story office towers, to hospitals, to large civil infrastructure projects.
Dayton Superior Corporation has invested considerably in an extensive Melbourne rental fleet and inventory and has enjoyed considerable growth.
This Melbourne centric role is to further explore mid-tier and aspirational formwork and concrete contractors, in both multi-story and civil construction, as part of the Melbourne and broader national sales team.
About you
Demonstrable energy and passion to succeed
This is a hunter/seeker role, with plenty of cold calling, new relationship establishment and cultivation, market building, networking and referrals.
You’re a people person and a team player. An achiever for self and team. A self-starter who can work independently, plan a day, a week, a month, and get amongst it
Building and Construction experience is highly regarded. Concrete and formwork even better, but not essential – the successful incumbent will be well armed via a considerable training program.
You are well supported by seasoned sales executives, engineering, customer service and warehousing.
