About the role:

We are seeking a self-motivated and customer focused team player to service customers both over the phone and in our warehouse. Key responsibilities include:

• Receive sales enquiries (over phone, email and trade counter) and follow up with quotes and pricing enquiries
• Contribute to the customer service team by assisting other sales staff and counter sales
• Accurately enter cash sales, picking slips and invoices into the computer system.
• Excellent customer service skills and a real desire to build strong, long-term relationships.
• Mechanical aptitude and the willingness to learn about the world of hydraulics.
• The ability to self-manage and to self-motivate.
• Excellent communication skills
• Hydraulic hose experience (advantageous but not compulsory).

• A demonstrated capacity to pick up and learn a broad range of technical product knowledge in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional customer service focus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and solid organisation skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Solid computer skills; MYOB, Outlook, Word

Desirable (but not essential) 

• Knowledge of Industrial/Hydraulic hoses and fittings would be an advantage due to the broad product range and target industries
• Forklift licence
