Control Hire is a construction equipment hire company -  a solution based business that works closely with our clients when it comes to supplying equipment that manages hazards on their projects. Control Hire is a new business that has been formed by people who have owned and operated equipment hire companies with over 30 years of experience in the industry.

The Role

The Sales Representative role will be responsible for developing new business and managing our existing clients. It is also important that the successful candidate is a team player; supporting the sales team as a whole in order to help facilitate sales, maintain excellent customer service and achieve company growth goals.

Duties will include:

• Achieve individual sales targets
• Work as a team to reach the overall budget
• Complete daily call plans
• Work with our clients to provide the right solutions
• Liaise with key stakeholders within the business to maintain smooth day-to-day operation
• Business development and cold calling

Qualifications & experience

You will be working with a team where culture is valued and our staff work to ensure it is maintained.  To be the successful candidate you will need to possess the following skills and attributes: 

• Ability to work within a team and as an individual
• Previous sales experience on or off the road will be highly regarded
• Well presented
• Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines, but be flexible and able to deal with changes to schedules and plans
• Willingness to go above and beyond for customers
• Willingness to get involved in all aspects of the organisation and “have a go”
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills and time management
