The Company
The company is one of Australia’s longest standing and leading importers of quality frozen seafood, with recognised brands and a large customer base across national distributors, wholesale accounts, and retail.
The team shares an unwavering commitment to providing quality products and service to our growing customer base on Australia’s Eastern seaboard.
Currently, we are in search of a Sales Representative to join the Melbourne team. This exciting opportunity is based at new offices in Notting Hill.
The Role
- Maintaining and growing sales to existing Thai retail, and restaurant customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product ranges to drive profitable growth
- Actively seek and develop new business opportunities, ensuring sustainability through superior customer service
- Regularly visit clients, show product samples, take orders, and review customer performance
- Manage debt collection as needed
What we’ll love about you
- Minimum 2 years sales experience, ideally gained within food industry (Asian food market experience is highly appreciated)
- Ability to speak Thai to communicate with customer base
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Preference given for previous experience with SAP B1
- A valid Australian driving licence
- Positive, enthusiastic outlook and ability to work independently.
