Sales - FOOD SERVICE

Urbun Bakery specialises in the production of quality burger buns, proudly servicing more than 1200 food venues across Australia. 

We have enjoyed incredible organic growth over the past 7 years but are now looking for a Sales Superstar to reach out to new prospects and grow our customer base. Currently a stand-alone position, this role has the potential to grow into a senior management role heading our future Sales Team. 

If you love to be on the road generating and following up leads, building relationships and closing deals, then you should consider this role. You must have a strong understanding of the sales process and relationship building. You must be a quick learner, with strong negotiating skills and have a genuine passion for what we do here at Urbun Bakery!

Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities and attend key accounts personally
• Identify, pursue and grow sales in specific key areas based off a target account list
• Meet monthly sales targets 
• Manage current customer base
• Resolve customer issues  
• Facilitate sales promotions where applicable
• Liaise closely with Customer Service Team, Management Team 
• Represent the business positively to our customer base, upselling where possible
• Travel interstate where required
• Develop and maintain an effective call cycle
• Identify and capitalise on market trends
• Update all required information within company CRM

Skills and Professional Requirements:

• Strong sales driven sales experience, ideally around 3 years and preferably in food service/hospitality
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong negotiation, problem-solving, presentation, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency with sales software
• Australian Drivers licence 
• Ability to adapt and determine strategies for achieving growth targets
• Intermediate-advanced computer literacy
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
