Sales Specialist - Japanese Speaking Preferred

Client Details

The client is a well-known global manufacturer and distributor offering a diverse range of beverages and is one of the global leaders in the industry.

We are seeking a Sales Specialist with previous experience in sales and/or business development for our client.

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating sales.

Japanese speaking skills and/or work experience at a Japanese company will be an advantage.

A valid driver's license is essential.

Description

The key responsibilities and duties of the role:

• Liaise with sales partners to execute sales in line with sales and promotion plans.
• Visit client sites to provide training and advice for product knowledge and to negotiate for display arrangements.
• Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a first contact point.
• Budget management
• Analyze data to gain insights and identify market trends to seek new business opportunities.
• Research the market, competitors, and customer needs.
• Create and implement marketing programs to drive sales and brand awareness based on marketing research.

Profile

To be successful in this position you will need:

• Previous experience in account management, sales, account management, business development, and/or marketing, especially in FMCG.
• Previous experience in sales at or to food distributors dealing with supermarkets, wholesalers, or food service is highly regarded.
• Ability to understand market trends and client needs.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Japanese speaking skill is preferred.
• Previous experience in a Japanese company is highly regarded.
• A valid car license.
• Willingness to travel interstate as required.
• Full work rights in Australia.
