Sales at Nutanix
The NUS team at Nutanix is a specialized sales team that focuses on driving business and sales for Nutanix Unified Storage in the ANZ region. The team consists of Sales Specialists who work closely with the enterprise sales organization and the partner network to achieve business goals. The team is supported by a dedicated group of presales SEs, solution architects, and other resources to meet sales targets and demonstrate the effectiveness of Nutanix solutions.
Your Role
- Segment the market and ensure appropriate coverage to achieve Nutanix NUS sales in the ANZ market.
- Drive pipeline generation through marketing, channel, and field activation tactics in your assigned region, utilizing contract vehicles and distribution partners.
- Serve as the Sales Specialist in guiding customer decisions to buy and adopt Nutanix NUS, acting as a trusted advisor for end customers, field sales teams, and channel sales teams.
- Design and plan implementation of Nutanix NUS solutions by collaborating with product experts, solution architects, and Nutanix services.
- Lead discussions on total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) with customers and field teams as opportunities progress through the sales and RFI/RFP/RF cycle.
- Take on a thought leadership role in the storage industry by engaging in internal Nutanix communities and participating in broader industry events.
- Have ownership of the sales revenue targets for Nutanix NUS in your assigned region and collaborate with field sales teams to drive the growth of the Nutanix NUS business.
- Influence Nutanix NUS strategies by providing valuable feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering teams regarding current and future product requirements and addressing any sales obstacles encountered.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of successful storage/software sales experience, consistently meeting quotas, in a fast-paced and competitive Enterprise sales environment.
- Preferably, have experience winning competitive opportunities in the storage market using a TCO/ROI approach.
- Working knowledge of the major players in the storage space and how to compete with each effectively
- Possess sales experience in the areas of Storage, Back Up, or Data Security.
- Exhibit a deep understanding of the ANZ market and its evolving landscape, with a focus on simplicity, cloud-first strategies, and cost savings.
- Utilize this knowledge to build positive relationships and achieve significant sales success.
