Orthodontics Sales Specialist – Sydney, NSW

About the role
This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work alongside Dental professionals, promoting and selling superior Orthodontic products and solutions throughout Sydney, NSW. With the ongoing support of the Sales Team Leader, as well as colleagues you will:

  • Take ownership in driving orthodontic products across a specific territory in Sydney, NSW 
  • Drive growth and build exceptional client relationships;
  • Manage existing accounts as well as identify new opportunities with regular customer visits to increase sales 
  • Liaise with Clinical Implementation Specialists post sales for practice integration and training;
  • Genuinely partner with Dental Practitioners to provide exceptional customer service and a solutions selling approach
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of products, customers and competitors
  • Record all sales training and support activities in the relevant CRM software on a daily basis;
  • Manage and implement the annual territory budget, to ensure achievement of agreed product sales targets and broader total business objectives
  • Support the promotion and marketing of company events, through conference attendance, dental training forums and trade shows as required
  • Work closely with the broader Australian and NZ sales team across all the DS business units to identify and leverage opportunities across SureSmile and Dentsply Sirona brands;
  • Maintain up to date product knowledge through self-directed learning and proactive involvement in training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suites/ CRM reporting will be highly regarded
  • Qualifications in sales/marketing/ sciences/business management viewed favorably

The Travel requirement for this role will be approximately 50%.

About you and your skills and experience 
To thrive in this role you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification, science or medical discipline an advantage;
  • A professional and optimistic attitude;
  • Flexibility to travel when required;
  • A passion for sales with a proven track record of achieving growth;
  • The initiative and drive to work autonomously with successful territory management experience 
  • Superior communication and relationship skills;
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite and the desire to expand digital skills 
  • Proven technical aptitude with a history of coaching others in the use of technical products.
  • Experience in territory / account management / business development in healthcare products 
  • Dental experience preferred and be looking for a long term career.
  • Ability to autonomously run your own sales call cycle and manage your territory
