Position Brief 
The role of the Internal IT Communications Specialist involves coordinating with IT departments in various APJ countries to produce online and offline end user materials. This also includes maintaining regional IT information in SAP’s corporate intranet. 
-Position Title:  Internal ITCommunications & eLearning Creator Specialist Intern
-Department: SAP IT
-Location: Sydney, Australia
-Start Date and End Date: ASAP for minimum 6 months
-Work Days Commitment: minimum 2 days per week but preferably 3 days or more
Responsibilities 
-Assist with the planning and development of the IT Communications strategy 
-Liaise with IT management in the APJ region to prepare the IT Communications pipeline 
-Promote the use of best practices through end user communication such as maintaining standards for IT presentations, documentation and HTML templates 
-Develop, tailor and edit written communication for internal SAP staff through HTML based emails and internal newsletters 
-Deliver online communications such as content for the internal web, HTML newsletters and announcements, PowerPoint presentations and SAP’s intranet 
-Work with IT departments locally and globally to build end user newsletter distribution in APJ 
-Promote end user adoption through IT campaigns and training sessions, and measure communication effectiveness 
-Design and develop interactive, engaging, and effective eLearning materials and courses.
-Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs.
-Apply instructional design theories and practice and should be able to design a logical, structured, simple and engaging instruction flow.
-Use authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar to create eLearning content.
-Convert complex information into easily understandable and engaging content.
-Incorporate multimedia elements in eLearning materials such as videos, audio, graphics, and interactive elements to enhance learning experiences.
-Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts.
-Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
-Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course.
-Maintain project documentation and course folders.
