Scheduling Services Officer

Creating a brighter future for life in the Tropics and beyond, through education and research that makes a difference locally, and globally, James Cook University (JCU) is looking to appoint a full time, fixed term Scheduling Services Officer’s until August 2026 based at our Bebegu Yumba campus in Townsville or Cairns. Remuneration is HEWL 5: $72,059 - $81,732 per annum with up to 17% superannuation and a 3.25% pay rise after 1st July 2024.

WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE
Joining a dynamic and fast paced environment, you will deliver optimised and integrated scheduling support for the development and publication of the University timetable. In this customer focused role, you will ensure your services are accurate, well prioritised and meet the needs of staff and students to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
To ensure success in this position, you will have experience in providing high quality, customer focused scheduling and coordination services, with effective computer and data entry skills using the Microsoft Office suite and other specialist scheduling software. Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines are also inherent requirements of the role.
