About the role
The Security Manager will be reporting directly to the Head of CSI and will be accountable for the provision of security operations across the company including guarding, control room operations, access control, CCTV, and threat management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administers the outsourced Security Service Contract while providing timely direction, advice, and support to company stakeholders.
- Lead both internal and outsourced staff to ensure the smooth running of company's security and safety functions.
- Oversee investigation of, and response to, incidents and patterns of activity.
- Establish relationships with suppliers to enable maximum benefit from their service delivery.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and productive work environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.
About you
To excel in the role, you need a demonstrated success at a leadership level in security and safety operations, the ability to assess and deal with complex security situations quickly and effectively with sensitivity, as well as exposure to a security and safety role in an educational or similar organisational environment. Also essential are your current Victorian Driver's License, current Working with Children Check, and current police check.
