We need an experienced finance expert to join our team as Senior Accountant. Reporting to the CFO, the role of Senior Accountant is to be the finance lead for department leaders for funding, reporting, acquittals, forecasting and budgets. You will provide supervision and leadership to the Accounts Payable and the Accounts Receivable & Payroll Officer. As well, you will support the purchase & leasing of vehicles, manage our insurances, maintain our fixed assets register and chart of accounts.

This is a full-time permanent position based in our Arundel office.
What you will bring to the role:
- Extensive experience in accounting, payroll and Australian tax compliance
- Qualified as a Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant (or have commenced that qualification)
- Experience in completing monthly accounts, annual audits and working with MYOB
- A problem solving and analytical mindset with the ability to work flexibly to meet changing deadlines
