About the role
The Senior Advisor, Academic Policy and Projects works to support the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in the delivery of their responsibilities and objectives. The role will coordinate a range of often complex, technical or sensitive strategic and operational activities involving research, analysis, stakeholder management and communication. The role will have a particular focus on review and uplift of core academic policies, procedures and processes, in particular those relating to academic staffing and careers, and on delivery of critical projects relating to the academic activities of the university. The incumbent works closely with the Senior Executive Team, the Deans and the Executive Principals to solve problems, mediate issues and deliver on the Portfolio's objectives.

The Vice-Chancellor is the principle officer responsible for the management of the University and is accountable to the Council of the University. The Vice-Chancellor's office comprises the team which supports the Vice-Chancellor and CEO to enable the effective managerial and strategic operations of the university.
