The Privacy and Assurance Team is part of the Technical Advisory Services division within Revenue NSW. You will join a growing team that has a strong focus on risk, privacy and assurance. We are looking for people with strong skills and experience in privacy risk management.
We are committed to privacy by design, with the Privacy Impact Assessment being a key tool for improving privacy risk management across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct privacy impact assessments for new projects and processes, and develop strategies on how to mitigate risk
- Analysing business processes, technology, data, and information to quickly draw out insights in complex situations
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to implement governance, risk or privacy initiatives
- A strong understanding of governance, risk & privacy and the ability to interpret requirements and apply them in a practical way.
- Ability to use multiple platforms and channels to communicate & engage with stakeholders in simple and easy way to ensure we communicate effectively and build capability in all of our work.
- Experience working in government or large complex organisations and managing the balance between delivery and effective risk management.
