How will I help?
As the Senior Analyst, you will use your knowledge of financial markets and understanding of risk across these products within a dynamic and fast-paced Market Risk team, where you will manage VaR stress testing ,structural risk reporting, and adherence to traded Market Risk and credit risk prudential standards. The Market Risk Team is responsible for overseeing traded and non-traded Market Risk, Market Risk policy, and the modelling and reporting of Market Risk and counterparty credit risk.
Responsibilities may include:
- Undertake analysis of reported results and process issues as instructed by the Senior Manager, Market Risk Reporting.
- Assist in the production of regulatory reporting for both ARF116 and ARF180 and other associated credit reporting.
- Assist in the analysis of Initial Margin back test results
- Data Management, including the review of reported results covering ARF 116, ARF 18, Pillar 3 and ASX returns.
- Regulatory oversight & adherence to the traded Market Risk prudential standards (A{S 116 and APS 180), ASX an Pillar 3 reporting.
- Execution of remedy incidents and new portfolio request with reviewing and investigating error logs from the Market Risk system.

What do I need?
You will have at least 3 - 5 years of experience in risk reporting environments with sound knowledge of financial markets, Market Risk and related systems and infrastructure, with a desire to expand your risk knowledge and utilise your data analysis skills. Data quality management, reconciliations, combined with experience in maintaining and developing systems and processes will be required as will excellent attention to detail. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be highly advantageous as will practically experience in facilitating operational processes and procedures. Lastly, strong excel skills (particularly VBA and/or SQL) will be advantageous, combined with the desire and tenaciousness to learn and grow will assist you make the transition into the team successful.
