The Opportunity

Due to growth, we are looking for a Senior / Associate Mechanical Engineer for our Sydney office. Principally, the focus for this role will be to design and deliver projects on behalf of our clients in both the Public and Private sector.

What you'll do:

• Provide design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects.
• Coordinate designs with the other Building Services, and wider disciplines.
• Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time.
• Take lead on medium to large size engineering design projects.
• Communicate effectively with all external (clients, authorities) and internal (colleagues, managers).
• Build solid client relationships and recognize business development opportunities.
• Be a mentor to junior engineers in the team including technical advice and soft skills.
• Progress your personal brand and build your network of industry professionals.
• Contribute to the development of the business unit against strategic goals.

What we'll love about you:

• Familiarity with other Building Services disciplines with ability to engage with those team members and evaluate design solutions.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5-10+ years' experience working within the building services sector utilising Australian building codes and standards.
• A track record of effectively handling competing priorities, prioritising work, and meeting tight deadlines.
