Senior Business Analyst

My client is is a national warehousing and transport company looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the organisation on a 3 month contract with option to extend. You will be tasked with ensuring the smooth delivery of new ERP system by facilitating meetings and workshops to gather required business information for requirements definition and modelling of business operations.
Responsibilities:

• Working with the business to identify opportunities, process/system enhancements and suggest creative solutions.
• Build positive relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and the project team.
• Document business requirements, business processes (as-is and to-be), business rules, data models, interface specifications, report design and data flows as necessary.
• Create and maintain model user guides, documentation of procedural and system changes, and conduct training sessions.
• Champion all test phases to ensure alignment to business requirements and outcomes.
• Contribute and lead initiatives in change, testing, data migration, system integration and training as needed.
• Support the transition and handover of project outputs to BAU.

Your Skills:

• Experience working on ERP, TMS, or WMS projects.
• Demonstrated track record in delivering BA services to a range of IT and business projects.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in manufacturing, warehouse, or transport.
• High degree of business acumen, understanding business processes and outcomes.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• The ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and shows a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
• Accountable for maintaining relevant system data to required standards, including data validity and master data.
• Understanding of IT Infrastructure, networks and systems.
• MS Office skills – intermediate. MS Project, Teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
• Demonstrated experience in developing BA artefacts.
• Ability to work onsite with potential occasional travel to other facilities
