As part of the Marketing division and working in a small team with the Market Access & Reimbursement Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate who is passionate about clinical studies and scientific project management. In this role you will be establishing a new clinical research function and making a large contribution to help LifeHealthcare bring new medical technologies to Australian and New Zealand patients.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has in-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and the concepts, processes, and guidelines relating to clinical research for medical devices
- Has strong data management skills and can assimilate data from a range of scientific areas
- Can demonstrate a high level of problem solving and project management skills
- Can work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Establishing a high performing clinical research function through implementation of good clinical practice and internal capability building.
- Implementing and monitoring clinical studies and being a liaison for investigator-initiated clinical studies
- Building relationships with key clinicians and site staff
- Maintaining a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with clinical literature and participation in clinical meetings.
- Providing feedback to device manufacturers on local research implementation.
- Experience working in clinical research environment, preferably in the Medical Device sector
- Experience with ethics and governance approval processes
- Experience with performing study monitoring activities
- At least 5 years’ experience in clinical research environment, coupled with tertiary qualifications in science or a health-related discipline.
