The purpose of this position is focused on business partnering the Licenced Sales team on a project basis to lead with :1) establishing a trade terms customer negotiation framework, and 2) leading the modelling of customer profitability and the establishment of the sales route to market structure.
As the Sales & RGM teams establish customer trade terms, support will be provided to understand the key commercial drivers in the licenced market to optimise the commercial outcome of trade terms negotiations.
The position has 1 Commercial Finance direct reports helping to deliver on the job purpose. To be recruited.

Role Responsibilities
Support as the Commercial Finance business partner in collaboration with RGM and Sales to agree upon and implement Trading Terms across our licensed customer base.
- Core member of the project team to deliver recommendation on trading term structure and scenario planning/modelling throughout the negotiation with key customers.
- Full evaluation of G2N spend and alignment with a growth agenda
- Ensure terms are aligned with and support overall JBP objectives with customers.
- Support in retailer engagement ensuring mutual value is delivered
- Utilise in depth licenced industry knowledge to translate trade term scenarios into Customer P&L to Gross Profit less RTM overheads
- Based on experience include all relevant commercial drivers in the licenced market to optimise trade terms negotiations commercial outcomes.
- Based on profitability modelling assist in creating trade terms negotiation framework for the Sales team
- Business partner support during the establishment of the licenced sales team Route to market
- Modelling various RTM structures to ensure establishment of optimised structure
- All activities are reviewed for safety to self, staff, and others.
- All hazards are identified, and appropriate management strategies recommended.
- All accidents and incidents are reported on appropriate forms and issues for resolution and management articulated

- Alignment and implementation of trading terms for Licensed portfolio across customers in Australia that support a mutual growth agenda
- Clarity of optimised RTM structure to meet customer requirements at optimised cost.
- Pricing and promotional strategy and guidelines in place
- Live tracking, decision register management, and post promotional analysis in place from Q3 2025.
- Support for key partners in Sales ongoing inclusive of customer engagement
- Workplace hazards are identified and strategies for managing it are recommended.
- Workload is monitored for overload and actions are taken as appropriate to manage it.

- Licensed industry knowledge i.e understanding of commercial drivers.
- Customer Experience and understanding of customer profit levers and drivers.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in financial management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, analysis tools, and ERP systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
