Senior Consultant

You will be responsible for providing analytical and technical support to both internal and external clients across a broad range of system and process improvement initiatives covering all aspects of superannuation administration and management. Using your IT technical skills and analytical ability, undertake configuration, scripting, testing and documentation for superannuation administration systems. You will analyse and develop requirements, and turn that into results by configuring new products and features within the software; and providing assistance to other consultants in best practice use of our software

Our software covers all aspects of superannuation administration and management including supporting systems such as business process management and customer communications management solutions.

●  Provide superannuation and technology subject matter expertise when required

●  Consult with internal and client stakeholders across the full software development and project lifecycle

●  Work closely with clients to identify areas of process improvement and best practice

●  Ensure that all client deliveries and interactions adhere to the highest quality standards

●  Undertake “health checks” for clients to ensure they are getting the most from their Acurity investment

●  Assist the sales team by providing clients information about new products, features and services

●  Gather requirements and prepare Solution / system design documentation

●  Undertaken system configuration, Integration specification, Quality assurance and Technical and user documentation to deliver new features, services and products for clients

●  Acurity Architect scripting.

●  Relevant tertiary qualifications or 5+ years relevant software analyst/engineering experience

●  Technical skills with SQL, Java, Python or any other programming language

●  Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills

●  Experience in a similar business or systems analyst role in the Australian financial services industry

●  Practical experience with superannuation technology systems.

●  Experience with Acurity will be highly regarded

●  Sound understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)

●  Understand and have experience with version control systems such as Subversion

●  Relevant qualifications in I.T., superannuation or accounting will be highly regarded.

●  Staff who do not have relevant superannuation experience will be required to complete the ASFA Super Essentials certificate in the first six months of employment.
