The Opportunity
As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a vital role in successfully delivering tunnelling Construction Projects for our clients. Your responsibilities will include providing technical expertise, managing engineering activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Resource Management: Lead the coordination and prioritisation of resources across multiple projects to ensure efficient utilisation and allocation.
- Technical Analysis: Assess and interpret architectural drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of construction plans.
- Procurement and Logistics Coordination: Coordinate resources, procurement, and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment to meet project timelines and specifications.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Consult with architects, engineering professionals, technical workers, and tradespeople to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
- Project Oversight: Manage links between projects, monitoring overall time, costs, quality, budget, and risk to ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Negotiation: Negotiate with stakeholders throughout the construction process and project lifecycle to address concerns and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Bid Development: Develop tenders and contract bids in accordance with project requirements and regulations.
- Compliance Management: Manage and monitor adherence to legislation, performance standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures.
- Regulatory Liaison: Manage submission of plans to local authorities and facilitate relevant inspections to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project.
- Human Resource Management: Lead and manage human resources, including subcontractors, to maintain project standards, progress, and delivery within specified requirements.
- Change Management: Manage change and implementation processes to address evolving project needs and challenges.
- Project Planning and Alignment: Establish and manage project plans to ensure alignment with program strategic goals and desired project outcomes.

- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in relevant field (Construction Management, Engineering, etc.).
- At least five years of relevant experience in Construction Project management or a related field, with demonstrated success in leading and coordinating complex projects.
- Strong technical proficiency in assessing and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
- Proven track record in procurement and logistics coordination, including resource allocation and material management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration and negotiation.
- Experience in tender development and contract bidding processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with regulatory procedures and experience liaising with local authorities for plan submission and inspections.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing human resources, including subcontractors, to achieve project objectives.
- Proficiency in change management techniques and project planning methodologies.
- Ability to align project plans with program strategic goals and adapt plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
