As the Senior Data Analyst you will support and implement strategies and initiatives which enable the continuing development and operational management of UNSW's enterprise student systems to meet University goals and priorities, and to deliver quality student services that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders within the Student Systems and Projects team, in the Registrars and Student Services unit.
The Senior Data Analyst will provide technical data analysis support required for the University's core enterprise student systems, including SiMS (Student Information System) and CRM systems.
Who You Are:
- A degree and/or relevant experience, knowledge and understanding of student and academic administration systems and services in a university or similar setting, or a demonstrated capacity to acquire knowledge in this area.
- Demonstrated skills in analysing or reviewing complex data structures and applying business processes and policies for the purpose of improving or developing new or existing services, procedures and/or policies.
- Demonstrated skills in engaging and negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders and a capacity to influence decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of effective business solutions and involvement in change management programs.
- Proven ability to exercise initiative, and to think strategically and creatively.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high level strategic analysis and advice in relation to the development and implementation of systems and services. Demonstrated ability to develop and use SQL for querying data will be highly advantageous.
- An understanding and awareness of contemporary project management methodologies and practices in delivering successful projects.
